MRF Visit

In October 2009, Transition Lostwithiel organised a group visit to the MRF in Bodmin, to find out where our waste goes. We learnt about what we can recycle and how it is processed.

Compost Cup

Congratulations to all the compost winners in Lostwithiel Garden Society's annual Garden Show 2009! Many thanks to Julia Pollard from WRAP for judging and RecycleNow for holding a compost clinic.

Battery recycling tube

Thanks to the generosity of the people of Lostwithiel and the kind co-operation of Julie Manwaring, Transition Lostwithiel were able to install a battery recycling tube at Londis in Lostwithiel.

Get involved: the battery tube needs to be emptied monthly at Connon Bridge HWRC. If you are able to help with an occasional tip-run, please get in contact.
