Great idea for gardeners!

Cloches from old street light shades Thanks to Southern Electric and Cornwall Council, Transition Lostwithiel has been able to obtain shades from the street lights which were replaced last year with low energy versions. The sky's the limit as to what uses these can be put to! They are in 3 sizes and make really good cloches (see more pics). If you'd like to have some, come along to Plant Swap or drop us an email

Lost Threads - 2nd August, 10am-midday, Royal Talbot, Resource Swap - bring unwanted materials etc and swap for wanted ones

Annual Produce Show -  4th September, 2pm to 4.30pm, Community Centre. Transition Compost Cup classes for the 2nd year, plus other new classes. Pick up a schedule from around Lostwithiel.

Lost Threads - 6th September, 10am-midday, Royal Talbot, Christmas!!!! won't be long if you want to make your special gifts or items to sell for Charity at Dickensian night
