BILL ANDREWS
South Wheatley Community Project
Bill Andrews talked to us about his experiences of planning and carrying out a community wind turbine scheme for his home hamlet of South Wheatley. After learning some hard lessons from a failed wind turbine project in North Petherwin, he applied his experience and knowledge to a smaller scheme which has been successful.
As we heard in his talk, there are several potential obstacles and pitfalls to be aware of when attempting a community energy project, but with determination, planning and the right support these can be overcome.
