  • Lost Threads - 10th January, 10am-midday, Royal Talbot, Community Quilt project

  • Lost Threads Huge Hook - 18th Jan, 7.30pm, Royal Talbot. Try out crochet using huge
    hooks and alternative materials... get involved with Hyberbolic Crochet and add to the UK Coral Reef project. FREE and a lot of fun!

  • Lost Threads - 7th February, 10am-midday, Royal Talbot, get quilting

  • Lost Threads - Tue 15th Feb, 7.30pm, Royal Talbot, Lazy Daisy and French Knots

  • Lost Threads - 7th Mar, 10am-midday, Royal Talbot

  • Pottery workshop - 12th Mar, Church Rooms, 1.30 - 5.30, £10 with all materials supplied, call Jane Marks 01208 873651 to reserve a place

  • Gardeners Market including Seedy Saturday - 26th Mar, Church Rooms, 10.30-1pm, swap or buy seeds/plants; renovated tools/ reclaimed wood bird boxes and much more to start the growing season. Featuring Abundance and Lost Threads upcycled handmade gifts and local garden nurseries.

  • Weekly Plant Swap - 10am - 1pm, Saturday mornings at St Bart's churchyard, April 2nd - August 27th

  • Currach and Coracle making workshops -  Transition Lostwithiel are supporting community workshops to make currachs and coracles, open to all in the area with initial priority to young people and led by boatmaker and artist Rory Macphee from Constantine. Currachs will be made on 16th and 17th April and coracles on the 7th May. They will be launched on the river Fowey in Lostwithiel on Sunday 15th May at LostFest.

  • LostFest, Party on the Parade Saturday 14th May 6pm to 10pm and all day festival of arts, crafts and street entertainment Sunday 15th May 10am to 5pm. Transition Lostwithiel will be providing zero waste refreshments for the Sunday performers.

  • Mosaic workshop - Scout Hut, 10.30-4pm, 7th May, all materials supplied, £20 inclusive of materials. Call Jane Marks 01208 873651 to reserve a place.

  • Pottery Workshop - Lostwithiel Church Rooms, 1.30pm - 4.30pm, Saturday 21st May. Call Jane Marks 01208 873651 to find out more and to reserve places

  • Introduction to Chinese Brush Painting - Lostwithiel Church Rooms, 1.30pm - 4.30pm, Saturday 18th June. £10 paper, inks and brushes supplied. Contact Jackie Hannen 01208 872854

  • Printing workshop - Lostwithiel Church Rooms, 1pm - 6pm, Saturday 25th June. Make you own stamp that can be used on cards and hessian bags, £10 plus cost of bags. Contact Jane Marks for more details 01208 873651

  • Rugs and Wall Hangings 2011 - Lostwithiel Library, 28th June to 2nd July. Another exciting exhibition of rugs and wall hangings, made by craftspeople from within Cornwall.

  • Lostwithiel Carnival Charity Fayre - 1pm-5pm, Sunday 10th July, visit the Transition Lostwithiel stall for plant & product swap, a round up of what we've done in the last year, future plans and lots of fun and games!

  • Chinese Brush Painting classes - due to popular demand ART 4 U Workshop will be holding regular classes at the Church Rooms, Lostwithiel. To book a place and find out contact Jackie 01208 872854

  • Lostwithiel Annual Produce Show - the 69th Annual Produce show, 3rd September 2-5pm, includes all the traditional classes and some new ones.Don't forget the Transition Lostwithiel compost classes!

  • Apple and Pumpkin Day - noon - 4pm, Saturday 22nd October, Lostwithiel Community Centre, part of LostFeast 2011, the celebration of food and drink in Lostwithiel held during the October half-term week.

  • Abundance chutney and jam making - evenings in October and November. Get in touch if you'd like to get involved.
